Pets before profit at Pets at Home

We carried out a six-month review of the business on behalf of pet store chain
Pets at Home, looking at every
aspect and all levels. The aim was to ensure everything
possible was being
done to achieve and maintain the best animal welfare standards, company-wide. That meant applying EU and UK welfare law, best practice and a series of ethical tests across 230 stores and 5,000 employees. The company came through
with flying colours and
has since brought us in to carry out more specific,
random checks on its
